Back from Omega! My grandest expectation was utterly eclipsed by the impossible-to-describe reality. While the workshop was a life-altering experience, what I treasure most are the people I met. They touched my life in ways I never foresaw.
Even in the last moments, Omega staff created perspective-changing experiences. On my way to the car, was nabbed by the registrar who'd signed me in Friday. After our brief gab, she'd been pondering - when's the best time to start when is the best time to begin preparing to age?
I heard myself answer - "We start preparing for the experience the first time we hear our parents say 'We're going to visit Grandma.' Whether it's said with loving anticipation or dread, an impression is left on the young mind. THAT's when we start preparing for aging."
The woman just stood there, looking at me. Then she said, "Honey, I'm going to be front & center when you give YOUR first workshop at Omega!"
