Wore a lanyard with my name & the date clearly printed. Nothing decorative, just different colored inks to zip it up. My grannie client LOVED it & thought the card on the dashboard with Today is THURSDAY July 9 was pure genius.
While I confess to being a bit hesitant about trying out the lanyard with name - thought she might consider it patronizing or just dumb - her response was all smiles. No more constantly having to ask. And I suspect she might not have been too clear on my name, so it's great having it literally there, front & center.
They were so simple to do. A box of colored pens, the lanyard from the Leading to Well-Being conference, a 3 1/2 x 5" note card, a #10 white envelop (for the dashboard sign). No need to be a crafty sort to be creative enough to make a lanyard with your name & date. My lanyard was long, so I looped the back so the name tag rests on my chest - easy to read, whether I am standing or sitting.
The dashboard date was a hit & my older friend LOVED the lanyard name tag/date! Hey, it might become a fashion craze!
