Great Cement - Everything I Know About....

Mom taught me that chocolate chips make great cement.  Still as true today as back when I was a wee tadger & first started baking.

Whether pans of Ian's 5-Minute Fudge  (made for family & friends, classmates & dormies) she whipped up in our kitchen or baking Toll House Cookies with grandkids out in Berwyn or down in Hurstville, Mom used the the glories of chocolate chips to forever bond hearts & tummies!

You can experiment in all sorts of ways with chocolate chips.  I use minis to make the Double Dark Chocolate Shortbread that were wildly popular at last year's Craft Sale.  Ginger & Chocolate Chip Heart Cookies will be featured at next Monday's Cairnwood Village tea.  Smiling, thinking about the nibbling most likely to stir the hearts of my Pendleton Hall theologs ~ gluten-free choc chippers, of course!

One caveat, also learned from Mom many many moons ago - always keep TWO bags of Nestles Chocolate Chips on hand.  One for baking, one for nibbling!!
